help me with Filter on MSACCESS 2010

Good Day!

i am new to ms access.
can you help me with my problem?
i have a database here and i cant work with the filter.
here, i have a batch #, date, price etc...
now, i want to have a filter that can find what batch i want to appear. for example, if i type Batch 1, the field should only show all the batch 1 and other data will be hidden. thanks!!! hoping for your reply and help..

You haven't described your form so I'm assuming you have a continous form with at least the header and detail showing.

On your form header put an unbound text box, we'll call it txtFind.

In the after update event of txtFind put the following code:

me.filteron=true

This assumes that BatchNo is numeric
