    Running Access Query Automatically

    Hi!

I only have access through an online website (for my company so it can be updated and shared globally). Is there any way to run a query automatically through using access online? I know how to do it when access is a program on the computer; however, access is only available through a website and then run through citrix. I know it's a weird question, just thought I would ask to see if anyone knows the answer. Thanks!

You could create a scheduled task on the hosting server that is if you have access to it. If not, (not as elegent) create a scheduled task on a computer that you have access to call a web page that will run your "query".

I'm sure there are other ways, and probably more efficient to do what you want.

      Very unusual setup...
Your ability to do this will depend upon the privlages you have to the database, the program, and if the program/database is set for "runtime"; therefor, you may have to work with your IT Departement to either setup the query for you or to give you more privlages to the Access program itself.
