Develop GUI Application to add, search and print database records

Hi,
I am new to MS Access and want to develop an application in MS-Access with the following specification:

Input:(Database fields- Record of Applicants)
1.Surname 2.First Name 3.I.D.Number 4.Date of Birth
5.Place of Birth

Output:(Interfa ce to search the records by I.d. number and if found the record print it at specific designed form with logo etc. and if record is not found prompt to add the record.)

What have you done so far?

Nothing but just created a table with the fields
1. I.D
2. Surname
3. First Name
4. Date of birth
5. Place of birth
6. Father's Name
7. Mother's Name

If you don't know how to proceed at all, your best bet it to get a basic understanding of Access by doing a tutorial first. You can try this one: http://www.quackit.com/microsoft_access/tutorial/. I'm sure there are plenty of others online.
