Displaying control format in a report

    Hi,
I would like to display the control format of my combo box in my report, so that when I print the report, the combo box will show the dropdown button next to the field.
    Can anyone help with this.
    Thanks.

    Stoic,

I guess I have to ask why one would need to indicate that a control on a report is a combo box? Typically, reports are printed or shared electronically, with no concern for the type of control behind it. Is there a reason you need to show this?

By design, there is no built-in way to display the dropdown button during print.

Why use an interactive control on the report?

In general it is always a good idea to not only describe WHAT you are trying to achieve but also WHY you are trying to achieve it.

If we understand the reason behind your question, we can ensure that we are solving the RIGHT problem.

Ok guys, you are all right on that. I was just trying to make some difference in reporting. I haven't got any other reason for that presentation. Please ignore it.
          Thanks
