    Invoice Print Preview

    Hi,
Please help me to find a best way to preview/print an invoice.

I allready have a forms design for sales transaction but when i trying to design a report for the sales invoice it will display all the data in the fields from the sales transaction, now i want to display only the current sales transaction on my forms.

I do not know which criteria that i have to use to filter, i cannot use the CustomerID and TransactionDate because CustomerID is not automatically input in the field when everytime i add a products/items only on the first record so from the second to the last field on that transaction was blank.

So i need to find a way how to make one criteria something like that or control number for each invoice to filter my report.

Ps...I'm Just a beginer in macro

    Thx,
    Matt

You may have a table design problem. You should be able to identify any transaction especially if you want to print/manipulate a specific transaction.
What is the table structure of your Transaction Table?

Matt, I'm sorry to say your thinking is not in tune with how databases work. I suspect you may benefit greatly however, from following the advice I expect orangeCat will be giving you if you co-operate whith them. Just as some light reading while you're waiting though, have a look at Database Normalisation and Table structures. You may find this a bit much to get into just now, but if you can manage to understand it, it will give you a big leap forward in your understanding of database concepts (and save you from untold numbers of headaches). You won't be sorry you persevered.
