    how do i create an executable file in access 2010

    today is my 1st time of seeing this site and i must say that it's luvly.
    i discotered this site today in my search for help as to how to create an executable file of a database i created in access 2010. I really need ur help guys. Thnx....

    In short, you can't. The closest you can get is to create a runtime version of an access database. The user would have to install that version of access. You can't create a self-contained executable of an access database.

        You'll have to download it from microsoft. The user has to install it as well.

          the understanding i'm getting is that i have to export my database to another software (runtime) and create it's version of it right?

            Pretty much. The user will also have to install the runtime software as well.

              A runtime version is simply allowing user to open and use access database without any modification abilities. So what you do after downloading the runtime, simply install it on your client's computer, and place the databae into the computer. It's 2 seperate things.
