How to make database file readonly ? Access 2007

While am building my database project (.accdb) file, i need some to give this access file to somebody to have a look on the tables, forms and reports.

But what i dont need is, i dont want to them to manipulate any thing in the database (ie: design change, or record change) , so i need to give the file with read only access, if we can say.

they can open the db file itself but they only can see tables forms but without changing any thing in them.

I can change the .accdb file property to Hidden , but any one can apply it again, so silly . I searched over it but couldnt succeed to get a solution .

    Any ideas folks .....

    thanks in advance

My friend this is army secrets, never tell anyone!
You will have a couple of things to do!
    First
Hide all tables and other objects

    Second
Dissable all Menu and Control on your database

    Third

Set the AutoExec Macro to open your POPUP-MODAL FORM and run your code for disable all Menubar and Controls

    Lastly

Dissable the SHIF-KEY and PAUSE/BREAK-KEY to prevent any attempts to stop AutoExec Macro on StartUp and you are done!

Should you have any doubts, I will be there to help!

Just know that everything can be done in reverse to make it editable. However, I don't understand the need to do this. If they need to look at it but not be able to edit anything, then you just send that person a copy of the database and you keep the original version.
