i have made up a database, that I split into several parts, like ADMIN.mdb database and DATASTORE.mdb database.
In ADMIN i use 3 tables from DATASTORE (thses are linked tables).
Now i would like to compact DATASTORE from ADMIN, but that is not working as Access tells me that DATATORE is in use. But actually it is closed and i do not make use of any of the linked tables. The only thing that is running is ADMIN.
Anybody an idea how to compact DATASTORE?
