hi i have a formA in datasheet view and i want to be able to click on any fieldZ and to open formX on the specific fieldQ that matches that of the first form(fieldZ)
ie fieldZ is equal to fieldQ
ihave tried an open form onclick macro
where
="[name]=" & [name]
and
="[name]=" & [forms]![formname]![name]
but access will not regognize nothing of the right hand side
in the first examble it does not understand the field name
and in the seconf the formname
any help for the access newbie?
