which version of Access can be used as backend for a web interface

As far as I know all versions can be, atleast 97 and thereafter. However there are also Data Access Pages within access 2000-2003 which allowed you to create web pages and use these as a front end for your database. These however were later deprecated in Access 2007 and it is quite hard to find a lot of information about them.
