    Query criteria

I have several queries that combines and averages data in different ways. I want to add check boxes to a form for filtering specific data out or in to the results when the query runs. Is there a way to set the criteria of a query from code? Thank you.

Thank you, but I'm still a little lost. Im my querys there are 10 fields. one field is called "status", depending on how the automated testing goes a number from 0 to 9 will be placed in this field. The number represents either a 0 for a good part, or 1 through 9 depending on how the part failed. On my form there are 10 check boxes, and 6 option buttons. The check boxes will be used for filtering data. Depending on which box or combination of boxes are checked will determine what data is to be exclude. The option buttons select which report to write, or export data into excell. Each option button runs a query or set of querys. The status field is present in all the querys. After looking over the thread I still don't know how to apply the check boxes to the criteria field of the query.

        Tom,

I think you need to consider the logic first very clearly. You describe it vaguely, but no-one can deal logically with vague explanations. I suspect once you have it clearly defined in your head exactly what you require, uhderstanding how to implement it from the linked thread (and even the linked article in that thread) you will understand how to implement it without further help.

To start though, you must define your own requirements clearly.
