pesky line undetectable at bottom of deign view

I'm using Microsoft 2002 10.6771.6856 SP3 and have been successfully using a form I designed. However, a line overlapping the page margins has shown up, which causes it to be printed on three sheets instead of one (both sides).
The line is at the very bottom of the form and evidently attached to the lower edge of the detail graph area (the form has no header or footer).

If I lengthen the area, the line appears lower on the printed form; if I bring the lower edge of the graph area to the last item created in the detail area, the line appears printed right below it. Unlike all the other items in the view form, clicking on the edge of the detail area or anywhere around it does not highlight this mysterious beast, nor does Edit/select all Any ideas?

When it's caused by database corruption, a solution might be to create a new empty database and use "File / Get external data" to import all objects.

When still appearing, check each individual object on the form and when the line appears with selection squares, press the delete button.

    Nic;o)
