Timeout expired Access 2000 project on execution of long Stored Procs

    Hi everyone

I know a lot of people have this issue and have Tried changing the timeout in connection properties, but has anyone ever found a solution to this apart from run these at the server in Query Analyser?

    Regards

There is a .QueryTimeout property of the database that you can use to set the default for the whole database.

Changing the setting for a particular QueryDef would refer to .ODBCTimeout instead.

You can try the CommandTimeout Property of an ADO Command Object. By setting this Property to zero, you are telling ADO to wait indefinitely until the execution is complete.
