Access 2007 using 2003 runtime - Runs wrong application mde version

I am having an issue maybe someone can help with. I have written an application with Access 2003 on my XP pc. I then package it and install it on my VISTA Access 2007 PC. When I do this the wrong version of the application is run. Meaning, the form changes that I just made are not there, they are from the previous version. I know it is the correct application because I can install it on another XP PC with no problem, and the FIRST time on a VISTA 2007 PC. The problem is when I do an upgrade.

When I run from the descktop icon I do get the message that Access 2003 runtime is being loaded. But wrong version. This is the path in the icon:
    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11 \MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\Program Files\MyApplica tion.mde" /runtime

If I change to OFFICE12, the correct version of the application is executed, but in 2007.

I package the BE with the 2003 runtime, but not the FE.

Is there something not getting updated when I reinstall? I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have deleted eveyting I can find on the harddrive with a name like MyApplication.

    Thank you,
    kfry

Switching between 2 versions involves registry changes at run-time. In order to make it completely safe to run 2003 and 2007 applications together on the same machine, microsoft provides a download for a Virtual machine. See this link for details:
