    Database Corruption

    Good afternoon,

I have an MS Access DB, that I was working on and all of the sudden it just stopped working, I cannot compact and repair, I cannot import, I cannot use Modules, I cannot use the JetComp.exe , I cannot do anything, my main concern is I want to retrieve my VB code. What should I do?

Here's the error message I get: "Microsoft Access has detected corruption in this file. To try to repair the corruption, first make a backup copy of the file. Then, on the tools menu, point to Database Utilities and click Compact and Repair Database. If you are currently trying to repair this corruption then you will need to recreate this file or restore it from a previous backup."

It seems like your best bet in these circumstances is to follow the instructions in the error message. No guarantees here of course. The database could be terminally toast.
