    Database security

How do I secure only one database? When I created a workgroup file, it requires a user name and password for all databases now...

    Thanks,

Workgroup security files (.MDW) are applied to a PC build of Access. Individual databases can be password protected, but if it's an MDW file specifically you want, then you'll need to create a specific shortcut for it linking to Access with the /wrkgrp (I think) flag set. This will set it for that particular session only and will not stop anyone from opening the database normally should they try to.
