Compile Error in Query Expression

Hello everyone!

I am running a very simple query to populate null fields, and for some reason it has decided to stop working!!!

What happened????

SELECT LIVE_150108.Region, LIVE_150108.Country, nz([Surcharges],"ZZ") AS SurchargesNZ, LIVE_150108.[Non PriceBook Reason Code]
FROM LIVE_150108;

FYI: The error message when I try to run the query says:

Compile error . in query expression nz([Surcharges],"ZZ") .

Are you trying to Update Null Values in the [Surcharges] Field to "ZZ", if so?
[CODE=sql]UPDATE LIVE_150108 SET LIVE_150108.Sur charges = "ZZ" WHERE LIVE_150108.Sur charges Is Null;[/CODE]

Any idea why the db started doing this? I checked every library and even re-registered them. Is this oign to happen everytime the software updates run???

I hope you get an answer to this. My NZ function has stopped working also, in spite of checking and resetting all my references. Now, in code, I have to explicitly check if a value is null and if so, set it to what would have been my NZ default. Don't know why....
