Disable replace tab in findtext dialog box

Hi I am trying to disable the replace tab on the find diaog in access 03, I have searched the net and found findtext.dlg but have tried searhing both my HD and the ms Office folder for the file with no luck,
Does anyone know how to disable the replace tab, other then creating a custom dlg. my db is almost done and I noticed the end user would be able to change entries with the replace(I guess I didn't pay attention to it when I wanted to use the findtext.dlg.
    Thanks for helping

The find file/folder dialog box is set up specifically so the user CAN change the values, otherwise why in the world would you want/need to use one?

A little clarification would go a long way to helping us understand what you're trying to do!

    Regards,
    Scott

the end result I am trying to achieve is to disable the replace tab on the find Dialog box in Ms access 03, I don't want users to be able to use the reaace feature.

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot disable the Replace Tab on the Find Dialog Window, but you can eliminate acces to it via the Toolbar, Menu Bar, and the CTRL+F and CTRL+H Shortcut Keys.

I get you now! I was thinking of the File Open dialog box, but you are talking about the Find Text dialog box. Sorry for the confusion.

You probably have already seen this article from MS. The findtext.dlg file mentioned is part of one of the SDK's. You can also find it as part of Borland's free IDE.

I'll paste in a few links and let you take the research from there:

Probably the best way to implement this is to disable access to the find/replace dialog box, and create a path to the simple Find text dialog box.

          Regards,
          Scott

Thanks but I think I solved how to hide the replace tab of the find dialog while still allowing users to edit the fields they are suppose to be able to edit from the form by setting ailow edits on the form to "NO"
