Access Report formatting

Hi Everyone,

I am working on an Access report and the client is asking for nitpicky things so I am working on a way to make this work. I have a couple questions and they are not related.

1. I have a date field which I formatted in the Format properties
dd" de "mmmm" de "yyyy.
I did this so that the date will display as follows:
02 de Febuary de 2008.
This works well, but now I need to change the capitalization of Febuary to lower case, so the whole word is lower case.

2. The report I am working on is basically a letter template to be mailed out. Since the original template was in word, and they needed to bring in Access data fields, so I built the report in Access.
The problem I face is when I try to bring in the Word text into Access. It treats it like an image object, so I had to paste it into Access and make it transparent and cram in the Access fields needed in the spaces of the paragraph. The field and the paragraph aren't aligning. One tap up and its too high, one tap down and its too low.

This is frustrating the hell out of me! Can anyone help?

For this question I would try using Lcase. An example:

Lcase(me!control)

Make a language conversion table and do a dlookup on month name. You could even make the language date format selectable at print time.

Just have someone familiar with the correct spellings give you the list of the month names.

I did a project whereas we worked with mixed currency types and I had to do conversions on the fly and the report had to display the correct currency symbols.(USD, CN, EU, YEN, NOK, SEK, BP, etc)
