I need to know which fields must I use when designing a database for a filling company or where can I find any information which can help me with this as I have already googled and I doing get results which I am looking for .The reason for asking this question is that we are given a project to design a database for this topic. Your reply will be of much importance.

Before starting your design you MUST first determine your business rules. Business rules will determine your tables, relationships and in limited cases some fields. Business rules are things you want your database to track and the rules that apply to the database.
For instance in your case what do you need to track for a filling station? Ask yourself that and it will get you started. ie: Do you need to track customers, do you need to track type of fuel sold, do you need to track amount of fuel sol for each type, etc. etc. That is if a filling company is a gas station (lol).Comment
