Hold down Shift on startup. Re-Tick the required boxes.

I've used the following in the past:
Open Database and Hold down the Shift key
      Or
      Open database
When the “Run Macros” dialog box opens select “Cancel”
Then use the View, Toolbars, Customize.
Select the Commands Tab, scroll down to the Tools option and drag this to the top toolbar.
This should then allow you to select the Startup option from the Tools, click full menu.
