I'm not a new user to Access, but I have been away from it for a while, so I'm making a lot of new user mistakes.
I have a continuous form set up which displays performance measures for different services at my job. Basically, when the form is first loaded, the user is prompted for a password, which determines the service which is displayed. There is a subform, which is the continuous form, that is based on a query that pulls up only performance measure related information pertaining to that service. I need the last field in that section, the Action Plan, to be editable by the user, though everything else is locked. I can't seem to get those text boxes to accept information, though, and I keep getting the feeling that there is just some box somewhere I need to change to "true" or something like that.
I already have the text box set to enabled = yes, and locked = no. Whenever I set the form to Data Entry = yes, it stops loading the list of measures for that service and I end up with a totally blank subform. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Is data entry just not allowed in continuous forms?
