Adding a new field on a subform

    Hello All,

I recently added a new field on my subform and made a relationship to it with the ID fields. When I did this the subform went blank. I mean there were no fields or anything! It's just a white area! The subform is an actual form and not a datasheet. Can anyone tell me the reasoning behind this and how to fix it.

    Thanks

You can't just add a field to a subform. I don't understand what you mean by creating relationship with the ID fields.

If you want to add a field to any form (main or subform) then you have to add the field to the query that the form is based on. If I have misunderstood and you have added this field to the query then your problem is with your query and not with the form. Run the query and see what results are outputted.
