filtering and apply filter code in access

I Have Tables of data my Manager wants reports on a spacific records with values from tables..Wants reports for files with special craiterier

Your best bet is to simply make a query to filter the fields you want.

I Did But everytime i face problems either with applying filters after i set the code to filter by form or getting 107Run-time error when itry to view filter table..by the way i am using access..
