How can you display a Web Page within a Report

    How can you display a Web Page within a Report

    When creating a Report is there a way to display a Web page within an object? I have a scenario where I am being asked to display a report for information that is controlled and published via another support group along with information that I maintain. This other support group provides their information via the Web with a nifty little layout. On that Note I would like to include the web page itself within my report and have no clue how to go about it. I have the URL to access the web page but need to find a way to display the Web page within my Access report.

    Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

      I'm pretty sure that you cannot include this functionality in a Report itself, but here may be a viable option:
      1. Create a Form that contains nothing but a Microsoft Web Browser Control embedded in it.
      2. In the Open() Event of the Report, open the Form containing the Web Browser Control.
      3. In the Open() Event of the Form, Navigate to the appropriate Web Page via the Navigate Method of the Web Browser Control.
      4. On the Screen, you will have both the Report and the Web Page concurrently available.
      5. This does, of course, assume an existing Internet Connection.
      6. I've actually tested this approach and it does work. If you want complete details on how to accomplish this, just let me know.

          Sorry for the delayed reply but they had slammed me with some other tasking and I am just getting back to this. Thank you very much, for this is what I am looking for. I am although having some difficulty getting the Web Browser portion to render within my report. It is working flawlessly in the form I just can’t get it to display the web page from within the report. Any suggestions on what I should check?

              I don't think that you will be able to display the Web Browser in a Report.
