    Create a Form Template

Is it possible to create a default form template. Im creating a database with many forms and would like to set as many default settings as possible to make things quicker.
Ive searched the help database and online support and am not finding what i want.
I believe it has to be possible. I hope.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Joel

you could use a subroutine in code to set the properties of many forms.

Depends on what you mean by a form template! If you mean that all the forms have the same size, with the same dimensions for the header, detail and footer section, the same colors and the same form properties set up, then yes! The template can't be used, however, to automatically setup such things as command buttons or comboboxes.

For details on setting up and using custom templates fire up Access Help and enter Specify a new template for forms and reports. After learning how to use a template for a new form, near the bottom of the entry you'll see
"For more information about templates, click here." Do so and you'll get just that, much more info on the subject .
