i have a query that opens up into a very nice 3D bar graph with each verticle
bar ranging between 400 - 850 in value. the issue i have is that if you're
looking at the graph, the closest major gridline (horizontal) to the first
bar is at 700.00 and the bar has a value of 702.90. however, it looks like
the bar is coming in under the 700.00 gridline. now, never having used a
pivot-anything before, my first thought is that the very top of the front
face of the bar represents the value of the bar, but because the horizontal
gridline sweeps backwards to show depth and then goes all the way across the
background of the graph, that depth makes the rearmost part of the gridline
about a half-inch higher than the gridline at its start-point on the left of
the graph.
in english, the line looks like this:

so the 702.90 value shows up approximately here:

so it appears to the viewer to be beneath the 700 gridline. now, this may
just be the best that the 3d chart can do and i can either life with it as it
is, knowing that these values appear to be less than what they really are, or
convert it to a regular 2d bar graph, which looks very accurate (i checked).
i just don't WANT to do that! access has all this great 3d ability but it
makes my data look all wimpy... am i doing something wrong?
