MVPs must, if they feel any responsibility at all, be far more considered before making their opinions as to how things should work known to the A-Team.

Experience (should have) taught us by now that, just because the reasoning for something isn't clear & obvious to us, doesn't mean that they got it wrong. On most occasions when we bring up anomalies we are privileged to hear the reasoning that they were working to which is often based on data we aren't generally privvy to - or simply just a way of thinking that hadn't occurred to us.

As for their responsiveness to us I'm very proud to say that much of what you see added to the product in recent years was prompted & assisted by some of my fellow MVPs. I won't name names here but scanning some of their blogs & resources will show how they've been at the heart of much of the newer functionality. I certainly don't feel that our contributions are ignored or otherwise undervalued.
