    Access ODBC change

    Hi,

I have a front end ms access 2003 and back end ms sqll 2000 server. I
have many tables, views linked to front end. I am going to change the
server hardware and new server going to have diff DNS name. Any easier
quick & drty way to update Access ODBC table/views/objects links
rather then deleting them all and putting a new link with new ODBC dns
    name?
Is there an easy way to change..like instead of pointing to server1,
    now point to server2?

    Thank you,
    hj

If you are using DSNLess connections then you will have to redo them to point at
the new server. If you are using a DSN set up in the ODBC Manager on each PC
then you simply change what server that DSN is pointing at.

      Hitesh,

Just change the host name in your DSN setup.
