    auto summing in table...

    Hi all,

    In my Dabase i want to give some advance option to get the work more automate ..:) .

    Now iam running an database for Fund tracking in the I would have to enter the total fund amount and the fund amount will distributed by more the two installment..

    For eg.

    Fund Table :
    Date
    07/01/2006
    21/01/2006
    08/01/2006

    Fund Number
    F101
    F102
    F255

    Fund Name
    Maintenance
    Party Expenses
    Maintenance

    Amount Allotted
    $.1058
    $.2000
    $.1058

    Completed

    Yes / No
    - do -
    - do-


    Entry Table Fields:

    Date of Entry , Issued to ,Fund Name ,Amount Issued


    I want to get the result like ..

    The Fund F101 may get completed by the 1st month or by 3rd month but i ill get the maintanance fund every month. Now wat i want is every time the fund is going to finish the complete field should automatically change to Yes .. If the field changes to Yes then the field should Locked ...

    Did u understand because the end user are not much computer knowledged...

    Please help me.. if ur not able to understand .. reply ...

    My main question is how do you determine when a fund is finished?
    And is that info in the tables?

      Yes ,

      This is the concept iam having $1000 in Fund - 101 ...The $1000 will distributed in four installment as $250 x 4 ...in the the Sum of Fund issued ill show $ 1000 (Fund 101) then i would like to force the field to Yes ... That wat iam looking for..
