    calculate field

    hii..i'm new here and dummies in access..i create one form that count total
    salary.i have 3 field.let say a,b and c.c is auto calculate and will show the
    total of a and b.my problem is when i look at table
    there is no value in table c.anyone can help me..

    The normal rule of Access is that you do NOT store calculated data.
    As long as you have stored A and B in your table, anytime you need the
    result of A * B, calculate it, in a query:

    TotalAmount:[A] * [B]

    or in an unbound control in a Form or Report:

    = [A] * [B]

      i did a query but i dont know how to connect with field which is field C..i

        What do you mean by "connect with field"?
        You don't connect with a field.
        If you wish to call the query column C then:
        C:[A] * [B]

        You can then use [C] in a report or on a form. You do NOT store [C] in
        a table.
