How do I disable the Minimize / Maximize function on the task bar?

    Morning all,

    2 questions......

I have disabled the control boxes, minimize/maximize, resize etc on my forms so users cannot do anything other than what the forms allow. The problem is that despite the controls being disabled in access, each form appear as a separate tab on the taskbar which can be minimized / maximized / closed (on right click). Naturally this is a problem as it reduces my ability to make the database idiot proof.so....

1 - can i disable the function on the taskbar for sepecific tabs, or
2 - is there anyway that access can stop putting each form/report that it opens as a separate tab on the taskbar. Can it just appear as a single tab for the whole database??

    Cheers for any help

Try unchecking "Windows in Taskbar", this is located under Tools/Options/View Tab/Windows in Taskbar. Also you can make your forms modal or popup then the users can't do anything until they close the form.

      Spot on!

Worked a treat. It was driving me mad as I was having no luck getting a hit off google on the problem!

      Cheers for that!
