    size of database Access2000...plz...

    helo...i want to know about something...i think u all know about
    this...how much the maximum size for Microsoft Access2000 database??can
    i load bitmap files about 38000..which are about 5gig??? plz... i need
    an answer...plz... thanks for any help..

      The max file size of an A2K db is 2Gb.
      Store the images on your HDD and store the path in the db. Use the path to load
      the image in an image control.

        Can u explain more about the storing the path in the db...How can I
        store the path and how to used the path to load the images in an image
        control?? because like I said, I have images about 38000 and have size
        about 5GB. plz help me......

            i have seen the link..but what i want is not like that..the example
            database in that website is get the images one by one...actually i want
            to get all the path of the images in one time,all the 38000...can you
            help me??can you figure out how to solve it??

                You're going to load 38,000 images simultaneously? To what end? And
                on what computer will it not take several days to load?

                  I think the idea is to load the filenames into new records in a table, as a batch process.

                  Something like:

                  Dim strFile As String
                  strFile = Dir("c:\somepat h\*.jpg", vbNormal)
                  Do While strFile <""
                  DoCmd.GoToRecor d , , acNewRec
                  [FileName] = strFile
                  strFile = Dir
                  Loop

                    operation, so there's no reasonable basis for objection.
