Combo Box

I feel really stupid for asking this, but I can't find the answer. So
after I get the selection from a combo box, when I try and pull it out
in vb, it gives me a number, which makes sense and all. How do I get
the original word back from it?

Ex. Combo box has the words "cow", "chicken", and "moose". They pick
"moose", I get 3. How do I get "moose"?

combox.column(0 ) will give you 3
combox.column(1 ) will give you moose
