Plugin.ocx - Forms does not work

I have made an application in Access and used VBA to make it nice and
userfriendly. Now datefunction, and other thing does not work because a
plugin.ocx is missing. How can I fix this problem?

    Hi Helge,
This same problem occured This past week on 3 PC's in our firm,
the Microsoft ActiveX PlugIn reference is checked in Access but the plugin.
ocx was gone from the Windows\System3 2 directory that Access needed.
I found it in the C:\I386\ directory and copied it to the
System32 directory and then the problem was resolved.
Has anyone else out there encountered this problem and do you
have an idea of the cause? Could it be a product of an automatic Windows XP
update when you shut down your PC.

Yeppers, had this happen on two different PCs, same application, last
week. It appears, but don't quote me on this, to have been related to
an Office patch that was rolled out immediately prior.

In my case I simply unchecked the reference and the app compiled and
ran quite happily, but it's a pretty simple app. YMMV ;-)
