    display problem with access

I have an odd display problem with Access 2003 on XP SP2, latest
    patches, etc.

I am working on a not large DB with several forms and <100 records per
table, it is still in development.

Periodically I get my form hanging and leaving remnants of itself on
the screen, button controls don't appear properly, I have to close and
re-open the form to get it to work properly, sometimes close and
    re-open the database...

The PC I use at work has 32MB of video and 2 GB RAM, the PC I use at
home has 256MB of RAM and 2 GB RAM, the problem occurs on both PCs.

Can anyone offer suggestions on what I could do, where I should look
    for solutions??

How could I figure out if it is something in my forms code that is
causing this?? Basically the form only has navigation code and some
    controls code to update it.

This wasn't happening before I did this week's Patch Day updates, could
    that be the cause??

    Thank you, Tom

    Re: display problem with access

Sounds like you may want to try to uninstall the patches and see if the
problem continues to occur. You may also want to try the application on
a computer where the updates have not been installed. Then again
consider the possibility that the updates only revealed a problem in
your application that was being masked prior to the updates.
Are you using the Set CRS.1 = Nothing to reclaim resources when you are
    done with an object?
    Just wondering.

      Thank you, Ted.
I'll wait and see what happens.
There's no objects like that to worry about that have to be closed
      etc., but I will double-check.
This is all happening while the form is active...
      Thank you, Tom
