I have a specialty database that is used in care facilities and am
constantly being queried as to whether I can link my database with
other vendors' products.
I'm not sure of the best method of accomplishing any kind of linking.
Am I thinking along the correct lines if I , for instance, place a
table in a common area (accessible by other vendors) and provide code
for them to incorporate in their programs to pass information back and
forth via the common table, which would accomplish data validation?
Ideally, I wouldn't have to know what other products are in use, just
provide a method of passing data.
Is there a commercial program available that will accomplish this sort
