    Active Directory and DFS

I am converting to Active Directory and Distributed File System. All my
server storage will be mapped though the DFS root. Does anyone have
experience with linking an Access front end to the backend using UNC path
including a DFS root. Currently I link through a mapped drive letter.

I don't have experience with DFS. Access is quite happy to use either a
DOS style drive letter or a UNC.

I can map a drive letter or use a UNC. Both methods would still use the DFS.
Does anyone have experience with Access and DFS? I am looking for possible
      performance and stability problems
