I am new to Access and having real trouble working out how to do the
following
I have an excel table that has 20 columns and a few thousand rows,
Excel works in the right way by using autofilter I can filet my
records with no problem. However I canno seem to hide the thousands
of rows. All I want to see is the header and when I click on the
filer arrows it displays that record.
So thought I would import the spreadsheet into Access, great I thought
create a form, have the data sat behind it and create a filter in a
form. I simply cannot do it, and its frustrating the hell out of me.
So my question is all I want in the form is to see the header with
drop down filer that shows the data, how can I do this
