    Security in Access installation

I'm confused about the security feature in Access. When I look at the
security it says the owner of my database is 'Admin'. My database is read
by a Visual Basic program. When I install the program-plus-database on
another computer, I can read the data but I can't write to it. Isn't there
an Admin on every computer? Could this security setting be the cause of not
being able to write? I can write to the database successfully on my
computer, but not on the second computer.

There is no Access installed on the second computer so it is impossible to
go into Access to change anything on that computer. (I can change it before
I install it). Please help me if you have any idea of what's going on, why
should I be able to read the db but not write to it.

If your install process includes copying from a CD, it's possible that your
    mdb file has become read-only.
Check its properties in Windows Explorer.

Thank you. It is not read-only. I believe the security thing was a
mistake. I have failed to include MDAC and Jet in my input list.
