Hi everyone,
I just inherited a Financial Access Database. As I understand it they
started with paradox and exported it into Access 2000 which is what it
is now.
Some things I try to open gives me the message: "You don't have
permission to run "Subaccount numbers." To run this object, you must
have Open/Run permission for it. For more information on permissions
and who can set them, click help.
I asked the person I inherited this from about this...she told me she
hasn't been able to use this and other db objects for some time. She
also told me everyone in the business office has full access to this
server object...there are no permissions set.
When I go to Tools --> Security --> User and Group Permissions
I see that the current owner is "<unknown>" and I can't seem to change
that.
I also see that everyone is using the "Admin" account. The previous
owner told me it had to be that way otherwise we would have it lock up
all the time...like in the past (what ever that means).
How do I clean out the old files?
