    Condittional formatting

I have a database I created on a network share when I print a report from my
computer the printed copy contains the colors specified in conditional
formatting but if I go to another computer on the network the report prints
    greyscale.

If I change conditional formatting to bold and italic it will work fine but
    not colors.

This is a mix of win2k and XP machines and a mix of access 2000 and 2002

    Re: Condittional formatting

This issue relates to the printer driver, not to Access.

Assuming the other printer does support color (e.g. many lasers don't), and
does have colored ink present, its printer driver may allow the user to set
    for color mode or greyscale.

Go to Start | Settings | Printers.
Right-click the printer, and choose Properties.
See if you can locate the setting.

Allen, I played with it a little more today and am even more confused.....If
I set formatting to color text instead of background it works on all
printers Could it be a color pallette issue ?? I did notice that the red
text on the HP1500L was a different tint than the others
