    Error 2024

    Hi:

    I´m executing some macros that generate Snapshots in Access 2000 but
    when they are running it appears the following error:

    "The Report Snapshot was not created you don't have enough free disk
    space for temporary work files"

    I have just analize the server where I execute the macros and I have
    found the following information:

    Total Physical Memori ------- 2.227.740 KB
    Available Physical Memory --- 1.167.324 KB
    Total Virtual Memory -------- 7.779.200 KB
    Available Virtual Memory ---- 5.535.768 KB

    I beleave that the problem isn`t by lack of space.

    Can anyone help me?

      i have had this error before.... nice one hey...

      It usually means that the application can not write the snapshots to the
      location you have specified

      (e.g. you do not have rights, your path is wrong, the server is not
      connected, etc... etc....)

      Let me know how you get on...

          You are looking in the wrong place. The message refers to disk space,
          you are looking at memory, it also refers to temp disk space, check your
          %TEMP% environment variable to see where that is and check hoiw much
          space is on that disk.

          Also as WindAndWaves points out, the reason given in the message may be
          bogus, it appears to be a catch all whenever a program cannot write to a
          disk for some reason.
