Hi Don,

What Terry referenced is something done by him and Dev Ashish. They are a
couple of giant Access developers.

Several years ago I was browsing around and ran into the Code Stuffer, an
Acc97 add-in, by Duane Hookom. On the click of a button it adds a comment
template and installs error handling for the current procedure; subroutine
or function, even if it's already built. That sounds like your situation.
I've been using it ever since I loaded it and haven't bothered to look
beyond it.

Yup. That will do just fine, thanks. :-)

I have to admit that I *do* use that Add-In all the time to do the "Block
Comment" thing, but had been ignoring the "Build Procedure" part of it.

I just tried it a couple of times, just now, and rec'd a "Run Time Error
3021. No Current Record." error message every time. Ignoring it (pressing
[End]) appears to generate the desired comments alright, however ...

Ah, right.

Follow these steps

Run Build Procedure
When you get the error rem out the higlighted line (.MoveFirst) and click on
the save button on the toolbar
Press F5 to continue running
Exit the Wizard

Run the Wizard again and there will be no problem.
