    how to speed up access?

    hi,

    I have a base splitted in a front-end and back-end.
the fe is on the local harddrive et the be on the network harddive.

My question is: Is there a way to speed up connection or something
else to make the froms openning faster ?
The purpose of the base is to make a planning. Given a week, the base
permit to put some task on a list of name.
This work well but it is soo slow, particulary at the first opening of
the form. ( And each time it is re-opened).

    any suggests ?

    TIA

If this is Access 2000 or later, see Tony Toews':
    Access Performance FAQ
    at:

There are several issues to address, especially Name AutoCorrect and
    subdatasheets.
