Access 97 changes Paper Size in Page Setup in Reports

I use a DYMO labelwriter with my Access 97 database. I just purchased a new
computer and in the report section under page setup/paper size, the new
computer keeps changing the size automatically. I know something must be
different on the machines. But what? I have checked everything !

    Thanks,

    Ira

I am not sure from your description what is happeneing. Is it that they
reports you create in Access are not saving their paper sizes properly? If
so, I seem to recall that there was a patch for reports in Access not
saving their paper sizes and margins properly. (It may have been for A2K,
though.) Have you applied all of the service packs to your Access
    I\install?

I program my database on one PC. All the paper sizes and reports work
perfectly. I copy the MDB and the MDE to another machine and the paper sizes
have all changed ??? I have 4 computers and this only happens on one. How
can I tell if something (dlls , services packs) is different?

1st, make sure that while you are in design mode in your Access report, that
you set all of the page settings and save the report WHIEL IN DESIGN MODE.
(I use caps here because it took me a while to figure that part out many
        years ago!)

If this does not work, then visit support.microso ft.com to serach for
service packs for your application. Compare the latest version to your
version. To check your version, gotot Help, About on your Access menu bar.

Yes, I am sure. I have been programming in Access for 10 years. This is
just happening on one computer. It's so wierd.

            Ah! Only on one PC! Got it! {{Hit;s head}}

Are you using the exact same printer drivers and OS versions on the PCs? I
have found that newer drivers tend to be very complex and can cause issues
with things like default paper tray settings, etc. My best guess is a
printer driver is getting in the way.
