    Is it just me ?

This is not really a database question but an Access 2000 one. Has
anyone else had the problem of Access2002 crashing when designing a
form. It only seems to happen under these circumstances

    1) The Detail section contains a Tab-control with a command-button on
    one of the pages
    2) The Form_Footer section contains a command button
    3) If you try to select button 1) and button 2) at the same Access
    crashes

    Is it just me?

I can't mimic your crash, but I've had a similar sudden involuntary
shutdown :-) twice, when opening a subform.

If that is not similar enough, sorry.

Are you talking about Access 2002? If so, all subform controls--and
controls within the subform--are inherently unstable in Access 2002. Some
of the problems have been fixed in SP2, but Microsoft has given up on the
others, such as the text box scroll bar crash. These were not problems in
Access 2000, which was a very stable version and is still the best version
      of Access to date.

        Dear Bill

The problem was in Access 2000. Opening the same database in Access XP
        worked fine
