mismatch in expression

    mismatch in expression

    Could anyone shed any light on this error message i keep getting when
    i try to open a report outside of design view, "mismatch in
    expression". I have created the report using the wizard, and
    information from two tables which i have created. Just can't seem to
    figure out what the problem is.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

      Could be a query is trying to join two fields of different data types.

          Not sure if you're aware of what you're asking. The rest of us can't
          see your table definitions. Sounds like a type mismatch. What
          happens when you try to open the query from the QBE grid? Are the
          fields you are joining on of the same type?

              Hello Jonny,

              Perhaps you could check the field types that are linked
              together between the tables you referred to above. The
              linked fields need to be the same data type.
