    Hmmm, installation

How do I create a shortcut on a users desktop if I can't log on as that
    user?

    TIA, Mike MacSween

You need to know the login details of an account with sufficient privileges.
e.g. Login = 'administrator' Password = 'secret'. Then you can put the
shortcut there. E.g. Typical Windows XP box might be:
    C:\Documents and Settings\SomeUs er\Desktop

Great, thanks Fletcher. Having just spent a painful hour talking a user
through creating a shortcut on the telephone, I wish I'd known this 2 weeks
      ago.
