    replication

    Using Access 97..tried to replicate a database but got a message that flie
    MSRCLR35.dll was missing... Searched windows98se disk ..office97 pro disc and
    could not find Dll. Searched microsoft \.com no help..have MSRCLR40.dll in
    windows\system .but access does not reconize it .. is this a updated Dll? If
    not
    does anyone know where I might get MSRCLR35.Dll??? ?

    Yes, this file must be present and REGISTERED in the same directory as
    Microsoft Access (msaccess.exe) is. The file is pretty much never missing,
    it is usually just not registered -- so you should register it.

    Its on the Office 97 Pro disk (in the \OFFICE subdirectory). But as I said,
    you probably do not need it.

    This is the file for Jet 4.0, used by Access 2000/2002/2003. You must have
    installed one of the Jet 4.0 service packs, which puts this file in
    windows\system instead of where it ought to be.

    By design. Access 97 does not use Jet 4.0.
